Who doesn’t love banana bread? Molasses kicks it up a notch, and when you add in chocolate chips or walnuts, it’s on another dimension!

Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Softened Butter
- 1 Egg
- 1 Cup Molasses
- 2 Cups Mashed Banana
- 1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 3/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
- Preheat oven to 350 and lightly grease 9×5 loaf pan
- Cream butter, then beat in egg, molasses, and banana
- Mix in whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg
- Stir until well blended
- Add walnuts or chocolate chips if desired
- Pour mixture into loaf pan
- Bake 55-60 minutes, or when toothpick inserted into center comes out clean
