Trifle is such an easy dessert. This one with bananas is perfect for spring or summer.

Ingredients
- 1 Loaf Pound Cake
- 1 Box French Vanilla Pudding
- Bananas
- 2 Containers Cool Whip
- Slice pound cake into small squares
- Make pudding according to package directions then fold in 1 container of Cool Whip
- Slice bananas
- In glass bowl, spread one layer of pound cake
- Cover with layer of bananas
- Spread pudding mixture on top
- Continue until there is no pudding left
- Spread Cool Whip on top and chill
- Serve cold; Can lay banana slices on top prior to serving
Trifle is one of my favourite desserts to make. It is so simple! I like to make either the night before, or first thing in the morning, so it has time to set and let the flavours meld together. I have used strawberries along with the bananas.
Other variations of this can be made with:
- Brownies, chocolate pudding, and strawberries
- Angel food cake
- Blueberries and strawberries
