I wanted to like this book. I love the premise of it all. But it’s just too…wordy.
6 chapters in and I’m still confused about who the different characters are. I’m not committed to anyone or anything. Their backgrounds and how they tie in together doesn’t make sense.
It’s also confusing about just WHAT is going on to cause them to all descend on the farm. Add in the local troublemakers, and I’m just over it all.
Sorry Mr. Sawyer…I just can’t finish this one.
