Book Review | Grace Under Fire

Grace Under Fire by Franklin Horton

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

OK. Horton has almost made up for Book 1 in this series.
In Grace Under Fire, we find Grace and Tom heading back to her home. Little do they know that Paul and Debbie have taken it over, with Grace’s mother, brother, and family friend’s grandson hiding in their safe room in the basement.
This is the book where we first truly meet the Mad Mick, doing a favour for Arthur by heading to Damascus to check on Grace and family. It’s a good thing he shows up, because while Grace is good, Mad Mick is better!
I liked the challenges shown Tom, who relies on batteries for his wheelchair.
Towards the end, we even run into some familiar characters from the Borrowed World series.
Now, what are Robert and Sonyea up to? And when will they make it back to Damascus?
