So, Wisconsin has extended their “Safer at Home” order until 26 May, with schools being closed for the remainder of the school year. I’ve been in Illinois the past 6 weeks under their “shelter in place” order, and have at least one more week, then Squatch will be driving down and picking up Little Man and Me, so we can all head back Nort.

Squatch told me this morning that all temp employees at his plant have been let go, and full-timers should expect to go down to 32 hours/week soon; they’ve already stopped their 4 hours OT each week, and have not had weekend OT for a few weeks either. I’m just glad he has this job; it took a while for it to come, and then there was some uncertainty about him going full-time after temping for 3 months.

He and FIL finished the hot house they were building for their seedlings. The seed order actually never came through from Amazon, but they picked some up at WalMart last week, so they’ve got some plants started. It’s a bit late to be getting them started, but the ground is still frozen, and they got almost a foot of snow last week, so…seedlings it is! We will at least have them started and ready to transplant as soon as the weather cooperates.

I’ve been in such a bread mode this past week, in case you have not noticed. We will always have something to eat, whether it’s veg or bread. I’m thinking that I may do a FaceBook Live at some point this next week, actually making the bread. What do you guys think?
